Hi! My name is Lisa, I’m a Midwest momma who’s been cooking since I was tall enough to reach the counter. Recently I’ve begun a weight loss journey by adapting old stand-by recipes and inventing new ones to make my way toward an 80 pound weight loss goal. I’m not a nutritionist, but I have learned what works for me, and I’m confident that it can work for you as well.
I’ve come to discover that healthy living does not need to be bland and boring. Rather than calling my eating style a diet, I much prefer calling it a “live-it”! All of my recipes are made from commonly available ingredients found at our local grocery store. By thinking outside of the box, I’m able to take these ingredients and combine them in new and inspiring ways in order to create delicious and nutritious meals.
